Michael Anastassiades

Born in Cyprus in 1967, he studied civil engineering and industrial design in London, where he opened his studio in 1994. His products, environmental design projects and experimental works often cross the boundaries between different creative fields. His work encompasses both industrial production and craftsmanship and is guided by a poetic yet rigorous interpretation of technology, materials and function. He has received numerous prizes and awards, including a Compasso d'Oro. His works are exhibited in major international museums such as the MoMA in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
